Their twin girls, Georgia and Riley, safely arrived on the 28th May at 9.06pm & 9.08pm . They are now settled in at home and adjusting to being a family of 4!
Cyber safety is crucial for children in today's digital age. Educating children about online safety helps them navigate the digital world securely and responsibly. On Tuesday, our Senior School students had a visit from Peter Williams, Youth Liaison Police Officer. Peter shared with the students the risks involved with sharing any personal information online and how easy it is to accidentally overshare information. He also spoke to the students about being open and honest communicators with a trusted adult so that they know where they can get help should the need arise.
By proactively educating children about cyber safety, we can equip them with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world securely and responsibly.
As a part of our continued focus on enhancing student cyber safety, and following on from last year's parent session, on Tuesday, 1 July, staff will undertake Think You Know professional learning.
This week, the Premier announced that there will be a reduction in the paperwork and administration tasks that our hard-working teachers are required to undertake so they can spend more time doing what they do best – teaching kids in the classroom.
This comes as welcome news to our Principal Team. Whilst some of the recommendations don't equate to immediate tangible changes, the notable recommendations include:
