To keep you informed about your child's learning, Mathematics, English and Religion books will be sent home today, this Friday (20th June).
We encourage you to take some time to review your child’s work and write a comment on the Parent Bookwork Record sheet (glued into student’s books). This is a great opportunity to stay updated on your child's progress and celebrate their achievements.

Please return books back to school on Monday 24th June. We hope you enjoy looking through your child’s work over the weekend.
We encourage all students to take on the Premier’s Reading Challenge and use the school library, home libraries, Sora to discover new and exciting books that count towards their reading goals. This is a great opportunity for students to challenge themselves, explore different genres, and develop a lifelong love of reading!
Cyber Safety Incursion
On Monday 16th June, our students participated in a Cyber Safety incursion, which helped reinforce the very important message of staying safe and responsible online. The session was engaging and informative, equipping our students with practical tips for navigating the digital world with confidence and care. Please read below to hear directly from our students about what they learnt and the key messages they took away from the experience.

“I learnt something important about being online! If someone is being mean on the internet, the best thing to do is not say anything mean back. Instead, always tell a grown-up and they will know how to help you.”Archer Sykers - Year 2

"At the incursion, I learnt that sometimes there are not-so-good people on
the internet who want to know things about us. That's why it's super important to keep our personal details secret online! We should always tell a parent or another trusted grown-up if anything feels wrong. I think being safe online, or 'cyber safety,' is a really, really important thing!"Danny Winbank - Year 4

"The cyber safety show taught me so much! I learnt clever tricks to help me not get mad or say mean things back to bullies or if something goes wrong online. They also showed us why it's super important not to share our private information or meet up with strangers we only know from the internet, because that can be dangerous. The show was awesome – it used songs and made us laugh, and we learnt really big lessons about staying safe.”Angus Rowland - Year 6
Discover the Sora Online Library – A Fantastic Reading Resource!
Reading is a crucial skill that supports learning across all subjects, and regular reading helps develop comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills. Parents play a key role in fostering a love of reading by encouraging their child to read daily, discussing books together, and providing a variety of reading materials. By making reading a shared and enjoyable experience, parents can help build their child’s confidence and lifelong appreciation for books.
