On Friday, all students in Years 7-12 will participate in the Interhouse Athletics Carnival. This is one of two annual House events in which double points are given. Points are awarded for participation – the more students participating, the more points for your House. With only three points separating second and fifth place, attendance and participation at the Athletics Carnival can make a difference.
Dress for the day is House PE shirt (senior students who do not have a House PE shirt can wear a Marist training shirt) and shorts with College blue broadbrim hat. Students must also bring sunscreen and water bottle.
Students can bring a small Marist branded bag for their lunch. Laptop and valuables should be left at home as there are no classes on this day.
The grand final of the Rush Theatre Sports was contested by Harold and Ridley Houses on Champagnat Day. All students gave their best and Harold House came away with the win.
The last few weeks have seen teams competing in the inaugural Foley House Volleyball competition. Foley and Ridley Houses made the Grand Final and Foley House were victorious on this occasion.
Thank you to Scott Minogue, Head of Rush House and Maddie Henry Acting Head of Foley House for organising these events.
