Term 2 EISM wrap-up
Our Year 7 EISM teams finished up their first season this week. Although the Year 7 competition does not include finals, the experience gained by our youngest Senior School competitors will serve them well in the future.
Congratulations to our badminton, indoor cricket, volleyball, hockey and soccer teams for their efforts. The Year 7s will kick off their winter season once school resumes after the break.
Meanwhile, our Years 8 and 9 winter season has started well. Kilvington teams made a strong start against King David and Oakleigh, showing that we will once again be a force to be reckoned with.
For our senior teams, there are five rounds of competition to go before semi-finals, which will also be the end of competitive sport for our Year 12s.
Looking ahead, the Years 7 to 12 Cross Country event is scheduled for 7 August. Remember to get your running boots on over the holidays for some training!
I hope you all have a great break. Involve yourself in as much sport as you can, and we look forward to seeing you all back happy and healthy.
Years 5 and 6 Balaclava District Round Robin
Michelle Ryan, PE Teacher
On Wednesday 19 June, our Years 5 and 6 students headed off to various locations to participate in the Balaclava District Round Robin.
With a sunny day on our side, all students had a great time competing against seven other schools in their chosen sports of netball, soccer and tee ball.
Congratulations to our mixed tee ball team, who came 2nd.
