Humanities

2023 has shown us how important Humanities is for students of all ages.

In Year 7 students gained a foundational knowledge across all four strands, with favourites being geography and ancient history.

Year 8 students began to consolidate their knowledge, particularly in civics and citizenship by creating an Australian Bill of Rights.

In Year 9 students expanded their understanding across the curriculum, further delving into what it means to be a global citizen. They finished their year by working on career folios; these allowed students to start pathway planning and preparing for work experience in Year 10.

Year 10 students demonstrated just how much they enjoy the subjects by selecting not only old VCE favourites for 2024, but also by reinstating Geography!

The VCE students have all done a great job over a busy year, with Year 11s looking forward to continuing their studies in the New Year.
