Canteen orders

A reminder that the Canteen will be ORDER ONLY for all main food items, such as salad rolls, sausage rolls, schnitzel burgers etc. The first 10 minutes of recess and lunch will be allocated to collection of food orders only. The canteen will then be open for any additional purchases of drinks and ice creams (Term 1 & 4).

BOOK MARKS – WHC Library Update

OPEN during school hours: 8:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday.

CLOSED 12:00 - 12:30pm.

The library is up and running again. Please be mindful that senior students have priority when using the library to study. Additionally, sometimes whole classes and specialised tutors will be utilising different spaces within the library this year. Everyone is welcome!

Please remember the following:

Seated activities are expected eg. chess, Uno, Slapzi, Spot it, Connect Four, mindful colouring in.
Quiet study on tables - please clean your desk of rubbish before leaving the library.
Borrow books from the WHC collection using your student ID.
Borrow books from the Geelong Library using your existing card or join the public library with parents' permission.
Reminder - our library is also a community library and the space is shared with the public. Please use respectful language and behaviour.
Eating and drinking sugary drinks in the library is not allowed. Water bottles are fine.
Please do not touch the heaters or air filters. Please ask a staff member for help.

LIBRARY ACTIVITIES TERM 1 (12.45pm-1.10pm)

Tuesday lunch times - Chess Club with Mr. Gray and teachers. Can you beat your teacher? The challenge is on!

Conserve to Preserve - environment club for those who love nature and its animals with Ms. Choong (teachers welcome too!)

Keen Readers - Year 7-12, all staff - please come to the library so we can organise some opportunities for you! Write your full name, homeroom and the type of books you like reading on the signup sheet.
