Swimming Carnival
Johnston House four-peat effort
Term 1 has been an exciting and jam-packed start to the year in the world of Sport at Uni High. The best part to the first week back at school is always the annual Swimming Carnival and this year was no exception. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was excellent to see so many students participating, cheering on their sub schools and enjoying the novelty activities.
Here are the final results from the carnival – a big congratulations to Johnston for their Four-peat!

In addition to the overall success of the day we had some UHS records broken!
- Tiffany Miet broke the 50m 13G Butterfly record (last broken in 2003) and the 50m 13G Backstroke record (last broken in 2009)
- Tyler Miet broke the 50m 15B Breaststroke record (last broken in 2009)
- Luka Senyard broke the 50m 15B Backstroke record (last broken in 2014)
Let’s not forget our best dressed awards: Mia Scheffer and Claudia Abishara as Jellyfish. Riana Amit, Isabelle Jolly and Hristina Anthenasopoulos as Aliens and Mr Scully as a Banana!
Congratulations to all students on their efforts throughout the day and a big thank you to all staff that played a role in supporting a very successful swimming carnival this year.
