Skate of Mind 2024

 

Kingston Youth Services will run the annual Skate of Mind Event on Saturday 24 February from 3pm to 8pm. In partnership with Fast Times Skateboarding, Chelsea Skate Park (Bicentennial Park) will host this much-anticipated skate competition with over $5000 prizes up for grabs.

 

Eligibility: The skateboarding competition is open to young people 12-25 years of age with a link to the City of Kingston (live, work, study)

The competition will be judged according to:

  • Creativity and use of course features
  • Combination of tricks
  • Variety and amount of tricks
  • Speed, style, flow and power

Registrations will be on the day. Please note all prospective competitors under the age of 16 will need parental / guardian consent by way of signature on the registration form.

 

The event will also include a number of stalls, food trucks and live music.
