Principal's News

Mr Rodrigues

Prayer

We praise you, God, for the gift of cultural diversity in our world.

Dear God, help us learn to listen more deeply and connect with others,

With those who may have a different perspective and background.

With those who hold different opinions to mine.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, your son and our brother.

Amen.

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that next week we will be heading into Week 4 of Term 1.  With so much happening each day it is hard to keep track of all the different things occuring in each of our classrooms, not to mention during our breaks with clubs now beginning. I have included below a snapshot of what is on offer for our children throughout the week. The clubs program we run at Trinity is an important aspect of catering for all children and giving them a range of other opportunities to build their social skills, knowl;edge and enjoyment at school.  Many thanks to the staff and parents who give their time to ensure that these clubs can all run so effectively.

Farewell Ms Annalisa

Today we farewelled Ms Annalisa who is taking up a new opportunity to work in an area she is very passionalte about. Whilst this is sad for our school community we do, of course, wish her all the very best in this new role and know that she will be greatly missed by our children and teachers at Trinity. I thank Ms Annalisa for her dedication and enthusiasm and the great contribution she has made in the time she has been at Trinity She has certainly made a difference to the many children she has supported both academically and emotionally.

We have now employed a new LSO, Ms Kate who will be joining the team and she will be commencing in the coming days.

African drumming

Once again this year we are extremely lucky to be partnering with MZuri Dance to offer our children free African Drum, Dance and Song workshops. Suzie, the Founding Director and our own Apout (Parent) attend each Wednesday to teach a group of very enthusiastic children. We hope to be able to perform for the school to show what we have all learnt throughout the term.  In fact, on very short notice, following our very first lesson last week a number of our students attended the Richmond North Community Festival and performed on stage with other members of the local community.

Enrolments & Marketing

Whilst it is still very early in the year we are already getting enquiries for next year's Prep intake with some families even enquiring for enrolment beyond 2025. You will soon notice our 2025 Enrolment boards going up and I again encourage you all to speak with familiy and friends about our wonderful school. Mrs Foley, when she is not teaching our Preps, is busy growing our Wednesday Playgroup, liasing with Kinders and working hard to ensure the enrolement process and experience for our new families is a positive one. We are of course happy to get your feedback, especially from our new families, so that we can continue to improve in this area.

Student Learning Overviews

A reminder that we included our Term 1 Learning Overviews last week and they are again listed below. If you have not had a chance to look over them please do so as it will enable you to see what will be covered throughout this term's learning.

School Office Entrance

Thankyou All.

We are now getting far less congestion in the office area, particularly after school which makes things much more manageable for our Office Staff who are dealing with phone calls, parent enquiries and monotoring children leaving the school.
