First day of school

School is officially back in session, with our Junior School and Senior School students coming together to start their year with a special Whole-School Assembly.

Addresses from Principal Dr Emma O’Rielly, Reverend Karen Reid, and our new Junior and Senior School Captains have left us all feeling positive and energised for the exciting school year ahead. And who can forget that rousing rendition of our beloved School Song?!

We wish everyone a fantastic start to 2024, and look forward to getting to know all the students and families who are new to Girton this year.

This includes all our new Preparatory students, some of whom were featured in a Herald Sun article along with other Victorian students starting their first day of school.
