Welcome back to School for 2024 

Yaama, we hope all of our students & families had a safe and happy holiday. We'd like to welcome all of our new students to the school. We look forward to working with our new and existing students & families this year.

Pupil Free Days - Friday 23rd & Monday 26th of February 

School Photo Day - Thursday 14th March 

NAPLAN Testing - Wednesday 13th - Friday 22nd March (Secondary students will require a charged device & headphones).

 

Cultural Dance Opportunity

Our Indigenous students in Years 2 - 10 are being given the opportunity to learn contemporary Aboriginal dance with Shae Duncan from Yulugi Marumali on a Tuesday afternoons every week for term one at 3.40pm - 4.40pm, starting Tuesday 20th of Feb. Students will be offered afternoon tea before commencing their lesson. Parents will need to collect their children from school at 4.40pm. Please contact our AEA team to express your child's interests. 

Murri Yulu Gaay Dance Group 

Our Murri Yulu Gaay Dance group have been invited by Mrs Karen Tighe to dance on country as special guests for the NSW Police Force whilst they hold an event at Myall Creek. 

When: 20th of March 2024 

Where: Myall Creek

Transport: Students will travel with AEA staff & Cathy Downes to Myall Creek via bus. A compass event will be sent to parents for students in the group.
