Hello RHPS Artists,

WOW! What a big year we have had. We have used our imaginations, learnt numerous new art skills, learnt how to share, to listen and be kind, all whilst making amazing artwork.

We had success in the Lilydale and Yarra Valley Show Poster and Art Competition.

Art Club was a huge success thank to our Art Captain Polly. I wish to thank her for all of her hard work and dedication this year. You were a wonderful captain.

And then there was the Art Show, with over 1400 pieces of your art.....I hope you all loved sharing your beautiful artwork. You all deserve to be celebrated and I hope you felt proud of your wonderful artwork.

Now the hard part......I have been at RHPS for the past 8 years and it has finally come time for change. I will be leaving at the end of the year to work at Badger Creek Primary School as their PE and classroom teacher. It has been a big decision to make but when it's time, it's time. I want to send a sincere thank you to everyone for always being so kind and supportive. I will miss your children immensely. They are all caring, kind and talented artists.

And to my AMAZING artists, I will miss you all very much. It has been a privilege to teach every one of you. Promise me this........keep making wonderful art, keep making mistakes, keep using your imagination, always be kind and remember to KEEP CREATING!
