2024 TCC sport

St Augustine's is part of the Trinity Coast Central (TCC) district within school sport. TCC is the pathway to represent the Peninsula region in the Queensland School Sport Championships. The TCC sign-up process is electronic, and students can register their interest in the trials by completing a Microsoft form from their accounts. This will ensure that a parent slip is sent home before the trials with the necessary paperwork. These forms can then be reuploaded to the parent slip with permission attached for approval by the College Principal, Mr Seivers. Alternatively, please email the forms to sac.sport@cns.catholic.edu.au if you have any difficulties reuploading the form to the parent slip.

A TCC calendar will be released later this term.

The St Augustine’s TCC application process is outlined below.

  1. Students complete the TCC Sport Microsoft form from their accounts to register their interests in their chosen TCC sports.
  2. Before the trials, a parent slip will be sent home with documents attached for completion to grant permission for your son to attend the trials.
  3. Parents or carers complete the Peninsula student permission details and consent form and upload it to the parent slip. This form must be submitted before completing the parent slip. Alternatively, it can be sent to sac.sport@cns.catholic.edu.au
  4. The College will ensure that the College Principal, Mr Seivers signs the document. Students will then collect the signed document from the student office and take it to their trials.
  5. Students must have this booklet completed to be allowed to trial for a TCC team.

Students no longer need to complete a Request for Leave form if they are absent from school for TCC or Peninsula school-based sport within trial dates. Outside of these dates, a Request of Leave form must be completed. However, parents or carers must email sac.absences@cns.catholic.edu.au to advise of the upcoming school sport-related absence. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that he contacts his teachers about work that may be missed on these days, keeping up to date with classwork and submitting assignments due while he's absent.

CISSA Trials

  • In Term 1, Years 10 to 12 students will get the chance to try out for the interschool sports competition - CISSA.

  • Years 10 to 12 students must attend all trials with the hope of making the final teams.
