Year 10 Sydney Excursion

Year 10 students, accompanied by Ms Roache and Mr McKenzie, traveled to Sydney in Week 9 for their excursion. Highlights included:

• A day at Taronga Zoo, including an animal encounter where we learnt about the importance of sustainably managing environments and ecosystems
• A ride on the famous Manly ferry for a day at the beach
• Exploring the city (QVB, Pitt Street Mall, Time Zone, riding the trams, St Mary's Cathedral, Hyde Park, ANZAC War Memorial)
• A walk across the Harbour bridge
• Dining at some famous Sydney restaurants including Betty’s Burgers, Rissoni’s at Circular Quay, and finally SkyFeast at Sydney Tower. 
• Taking in a movie at Event Cinemas on George Street
• Exploring the city by night at Darling Harbour, the Rocks and the Opera House. 

Although the train trip was long, it was a wonderful experience for both staff and students and a special time to spend together as Year 10 2023.
