Middle Primary State Futsal Championships

On Friday 10 November we took 2 Middle Primary teams to the State Futsal Championships in Thornbury. Both teams played hard and played well together as a team with one of our teams making it to the grand final.

They played an incredible final after playing lots of games during the day but unfortunately lost by 1 goal in a nail biting penalty shootout.  

I was really proud of how all the boys played but also how they conducted themselves and represented MECS.

This was our first year participating in this event so to take 2 teams to the State championships and to end up with one of our teams placing 2nd in the State is pretty amazing.
