YEAR 5 TRIATHLON

On Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd November, most of the Year 5 students participated in the school triathlon.  Many of the students were quite nervous and apprehensive at the start, but it was always reiterated that it was an "experience" for the students, and not to be seen as a race. With this in mind, the students really embraced the activity, and set their own personal goals for them to achieve. Once finished, not only did the students feel a great sense of achievement, they loved the experience and wanted to do it again.

Congratulations to the Year 5 students who completed the school triathlon this week. Thank you to the parents and grandparents who came along to support all the students as well as assisting with supervision.

2 x 1 SPORT – YEAR 5 AND 6

Year 6 students thoroughly enjoyed their 2 x 1 Sports over the last two Fridays. The program allows Year 5 and 6 students to experience activites that are part of the local community - Rockclimbing (Bayside Rock), Tenpin Bowling (Zone Bowling), Tennis (Langwarrin Tennis Club), Golf (Centenary Park Golf Course) and Fitness (Input Fitness).

Year 5 students have their first session today. Indoor Cricket was a popular choice with the Year 5 students, so this activity will be held at Frankston Indoor Sports.
