Dental Van! is coming to DSC!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Australian Dental Health will be visiting Doncaster Secondary College in Term 4 Week 2!

ADH will be providing free dental check-ups and treatment for eligible students.  Regular dental check-ups are essential for keeping your child’s teeth healthy—preventing cavities, spotting issues early, and encouraging good habits. The Crucible – The Countdown Begins!

With just six weeks to go, excitement is truly building as we prepare to bring Arthur Miller’s The Crucible to life on stage! Our talented cast and crew have been working with energy and focus in rehearsals, and the intensity is growing as performance week draws near. Students are committing to their lines, refining their blocking, and deepening their connection to this powerful play.

As we move closer to showtime, full cast run-throughs will continue during the holidays, and full-day rehearsals are scheduled for Week 3 of Term 3, including all-important technical and dress rehearsals.

Behind the scenes, our production is taking shape! Costumes have been fitted, thanks to the creative work of Wendy Drowley from the Heidelberg Theatre Company. Clumps of grass and tree limbs have been gathered to help construct an evocative and immersive set, and props have begun arriving—it's a hive of activity!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible staff, parents, and student crew who are going above and beyond in every aspect of the production. From set building and lighting to sound and stage management, your dedication and teamwork are bringing this vision to life.

Tickets are now on sale! Don’t miss this thought-provoking performance—secure your seat and support our amazing students.
