What is Magnify Sandhurst

Magnify Sandhurst is a Diocesan wide implementation of the latest education research in the Science of Learning and Science of Reading. Magnify Sandhurst offers an outstanding school experience in all 55 primary and secondary schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.

The ‘Magnify Sandhurst’ project represents a major investment in the educational experience for every child. We are partnering with five national and international organisations across the areas of neuroscience, literacy, the Victorian learning curriculum, the behaviour curriculum as well as individual professional coaching for teachers. In a first of its kind experience, and in partnership with our peers across Sandhurst, we are determinedly committed that you and your child can experience the very best that education throughout Australia has to offer.

Athletics Day

On Friday, 23rd May, St Peter’s held their annual school athletics carnival. Although the weather wasn’t always kind, all events were completed. The students should be proud of the effort they put in. Congratulations to all students for the way they participated and encouraged each other. Thank you to the students from Catherine McAuley College for assisting with the events. Thank you also to Mr Wilkinson for organising and setting everything up.

Murnong Mummas Cooking

Over the last 3 weeks, all students had the opportunity to learn about Aboriginal cooking.

Murnong Mummas is an Indigenous-lead social enterprise involved in the native foods and botanicals sector. Murnong Mummas educate and inspire others about native foods and botanicals.

By sharing their knowledge and passion, Murnong Mummas aim to promote the uniqueness and innovation of native foods and the people and country behind them.
