Learning this week:
Literacy: Word Study: Year 2 sound focus this week is: ai. Year 3 sound focus this week is: ai, ay, a_e. Below are the two lists of words we will be using at school to practice the sounds with.

Writer’s Workshop: we will finish our unit of study on using Show, Don’t Tell in our writing.
Readers Workshop: we will finish exploring the parts of speech in the texts we read this week.
Mathematics: We will continue exploring Objects and Shapes this week in Maths. While also revisiting Fractions through some hands-on activities.
Unit of Inquiry: We will continue our main unit of inquiry this term – Where we are in place and time with a focus on Landmarks. We will also continue exploring resilience weekly through an ongoing learning journal.
