ST. KEVIN’S FEAST DAY MASS
On Tuesday 3rd we celebrated St Kevin’s Feast Day by having Mass with Fr, Antony Santhiyagu.
This was Fr. Antony’s first Mass with the whole school at SFS. We welcome Fr. Antony as part of the St Kevin’s Parish and the SFS community and we look forward to celebrating many more masses with Fr. Antony,
COLOURED PLAYGROUND
Our coloured playground is finally open for the students to play on next week. Thank you to all the students for being patient while the playground has been resurfaced. The new surface looks amazing and the school colours used to create the new look has given the playground a new face lift.
NATIONAL DONUT DAY WITH A DONUT FUN LUNCH
Thank you to Parents and Friends for the awesome Friday Donut Fun Lunch. The children really appreciated this SWEET TREAT on a cold wintery day.
This is the best treat!
SAFETY FOR KIDS
Thank you to the community for the support with ensuring we are keeping our children safe, and if we notice anything or any behaviour which makes us feel unsafe that we report to the school.
It is a good time to talk with your child about safety when they are walking or riding to or from school. Children should be cautious when interacting with people they don’t know.
Children should know how to tell a trusted adult or seek help if they feel unsafe or are being approached by someone they don’t know.
Please Note: School Closure Day
Friday 25th July will be a school closure date as we have a staff professional Learning day.
On Monday 23rd July the staff will be working with Glen Purcell on classroom organisation and management for optimum results. Glen is well regarded and has been sharing his ideas with teachers for many years. He is a published author. We are looking forward to this day.
Prep Enrolments are near Capacity for 2026!
If you know someone thinking about their child starting at our wonderful school, they need to act fast. Book a tour, complete an application online and attend an interview to secure a place at St Francis de Sales for 2026. Delay and you will MISS out and will need to go on a waiting list. Spread the word so friends and families are aware that places are now limited for 2026.
