The bi-annual Mid-Semester Fiesta took place at the end of Week 2 for Years 8 and 9 students.
The Mid-Semester Fiesta is a celebration of the achievements of the Years 8 and 9 students whose academic and attitude grades place them in the top 15 percent of their year level.
The students celebrate their success at a Mexican themed lunch hosted by their Year Level Leaders who laid on tasty burritos, choccies and drinks.
Well done to all students who earned their place at this semester's fiesta. Motivation, engagement, and hard work do not go unnoticed. They deserve to feel enormously proud of themselves.
Year 7s do not miss out. They will enjoy their fiesta in the coming weeks.

Ethics Olympiad
Earlier this term, the Endeavour College Senior Ethics Olympiad Team competed against numerous schools in SA. The team trained throughout Term 1 in Big Ideas Club to apply their understanding of philosophy and its impact in everyday life scenarios. The team worked hard all day and commented on how much fun the experience was.
The team were given an honourable mention for their hard work. Congratulations to Emily Heng, Oliver Hutchinson, Samantha Perryman, Precious Pewee, Amity Williams, and Hayley Cheng for their dedication and teamwork skills!

Senior Music Solo Night
On Thursday 9 May the first Senior Music Solo night for 2024 was held. We were treated to performances by twelve Year 11 and Year 12 Music students. These included vocals, saxophone, violin, bass guitar, guitar, and drums. Jake Thompson’s virtuosic Eruption by Van Halen on guitar, Hayden Huyhn’s passionate rendition of Meditation on Violin and Cooper Foskett’s insanely fast drum solo in the Metal piece ‘The Summoning’ were just a small sample of the amazing performances that happened on the night.
It’s always a pleasure to perform in front of a live audience and we thank everyone who attended to support Music.
A special thanks to Miss Stanley and
Mr Wooldridge for being supportive teachers and assessors on the night. Thanks also to Thomas Saunders for his piano accompaniment, and Cameron Barrett for filming and lights. We look forward to the second Senior Solo night that will be held later in the year.
