Reconciliation Week

27th May - 3rd June

National Reconciliation Week (NRW)

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Reconciliation Week, held annually from May 27th to June 3rd, and NAIDOC Week, typically celebrated in July, are crucial occasions for recognising the histories, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s themes ‘Now more than ever’ and ‘Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud’ respectfully. It presents an invaluable opportunity for your school to demonstrate a commitment to reconciliation and to honour the rich cultural heritage of Australia's First Nations peoples.
