The most significant impact broadly on attendance rates in 2023, was the ongoing number of families taking on overseas travel, many to visit families who they haven't seen for a number of years.

Processes are in place to manage student non-attendance. These include daily follow-up of students who do not attend school and do not provide an acceptable explanation. This follow-up involves an SMS from our front office and may, on occasions, also involve a meeting with the classroom teacher, Principal or Deputy Principal. Records of student attendance are kept and may be discussed at Learning Conversations, if concerning patterns are emerging.

Termly data is collected and used to work with families regarding support from Wellbeing and Learning Enrichment staff.
