Hi Grayling Families!

Here is what we are learning in Spanish right now! 

Prep, 1’s & 2’s

We are so excited to be back for term 2!

 Our topics this term include:

Weeks 1-4 - Useful phrases

Weeks 5-7 - How to introduce ourselves and ask eachothers names.

Week 8-11 - Colours and final assessments. 

We will be continuing to use the Spanish Program called Sparks, where 4 cute cartoon characters are teaching us all the words we need for the above units. 

Here are the useful phrases we will be doing over the next few weeks:

3’s - 6’s

Likewise in 3-6, we are getting right into it this term with some new topics to learn about.

Here is our plan for Term 2. Students in 3/4 will be working on different tasks than 5/6 but within the same topics.  

Weeks 1-4 - Days and Months of the Year

Weeks 5-7 - Colours, Shapes and Objects.

Week 8-11 - Spanish Countries around the World (cultural unit). 

Feel free to print these off and practise with your child at home. The more they practise the better they will understand Spanish in the future. Overall, It is going to be a great term in Spanish, and we look forward to sharing pictures of the students' work in future newsletters.
