PFA update

Hello and welcome back to Term 2. I can’t believe Term 1 is already done!

This term definitely starts with a bang!

First is the election sausage sizzle this Saturday 3rd May. If you can help with this event please sign up on the volunteer list.

 

Shortly after the BBQ is the week of Mother’s Day fun. 

Mother’s Day Raffle

Open to the whole school, the raffle will be drawn on Monday 12th May.

Treat your special person to a wonderful weekend away or a glass or 2 of delicious champagne, all while raising money for our incredible school. 

  • Major Prize - Donated by the PMPS Lambis family 

    ‘The Kirwood Coastal’ weekend away valued at $2,000!

    Package includes 2 night’s accommodation with a late 3pm check out plus a welcome hamper.

  • Second Prize - Donated by Cheyne Fox from Whitefox Realestate; The Mother's Day Lunch major sponsor.

Mother’s Day Breakfast

When: Tuesday 6th May, 8am-9am

Where: At school near the soccer pitch or in the gym if it’s raining

The PFA would love to invite mums to come along before school, share a hot drink and some yummy baked goodness to celebrate Mother’s Day! Croissants, muffins etc will be available 2 for $5.

 

Stompy’s coffee cart will be selling coffee and hot drinks from 7.45am- 9.15am. As with any morning, parents are welcome to walk their children to their classrooms between 8:45am and 9am.

Mothers Day/Special Persons Stall

When: Wednesday 7th May 

Cost: $10 per gift

A selection of gifts are provided by the PFA for children to purchase and give to their loved ones on Mother’s Day. Gifts are $10 each and children can purchase as many as they like (for grandmas, two mums, stepmums, aunties). Children will shop the stall in class groups at staggered times through the day. We will then re-open on Thursday morning 8.30-9.15am for anyone who has missed out or wants to swap double ups. Please BYO your own bag!

Mother's Day Lunch

When: Friday 9 May, 12pm - 8pm

Where: The Pier

 

Mother’s Day Lunch is fast approaching! It's the most anticipated event amongst mums and guardians!

 

If you can't make the main event, don't miss out, come after work and enjoy great company, laughs and the entertainment until 8pm, drinks will be at bar prices. The after lunch event entry is 3-8pm, at The Pier Hotel. Tickets are $30.

All proceeds from this ticket go to our wonderful school.

Mother’s Day Event Wristband & Cocktail Token Collection

When: 5th-7th May, 8:45–9:15am

The Mother’s Day Lunch and After Event are both ticketed events, you will need a wristband for entry. Please come to school to collect your wristband & cocktail tokens (if you purchased any) on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday next week from 8:45–9:15am outside the office.

 

Along with your wristband you will receive a delicious Ferguson Plarre lemon YoYo “For the Mum who is simply the zest! 🍋”
