Teachers kicking goals

The West Footscray Roosters, captained by our very own Year 5 teacher, Miss Gannon, kicked off their football season on the first weekend of the school holidays. This season, new recruit Miss Janelle, joined forces with Miss Bo and Miss Emily to raise the PMPS representation on the team.

Round 1 was a sight to be seen with the PMPS teachers punishing the opposition to win 179 – 0. In her first ever senior AFL game, Miss Janelle’s soccer skills shone through, scoring a massive 7 goals! Miss Emily achieved her dream for the year and kicked her first EVER goal and finished the game with two to her name. Miss Gannon also hit the score board from the midfield, while Miss Bo worked tirelessly in the centre of the field covering a whopping 8.5kms throughout the game to deliver the ball to the forward line.

Keep up with the West Footscray Senior Women’s fixture and results here.

Netball: new uniforms, new confidence

A big thank you to the Port Melbourne Netball Club for their generous donation of uniforms! Our students are thrilled and will be looking sharp on the court as they take on local schools at the Bayside Division inter-school netball competition.
