Generations in Jazz 2025 in full swing🎺

Generations in Jazz (GIJ) is a Jazz spectacular inviting world-renowned Jazz musicians to perform in Mt Gambier to hundreds of schools across Australia. Each school nominates bands, vocal ensembles and musicians to the competition to compete in friendly competition. It's a great opportunity for aspiring musicians to get a taste of what it's like to be a professional musician. This year GIJ is being held Friday 2 May - Sunday 4 May 2025. 

The students attending GIJ, met together last night for their final rehearsal before the weekend. Following the rehearsal, the students had Pizza for dinner, then performed their songs to parents and friends. 

Emmaus Christian College is taking a Stage Band, Small Jazz Combo and Vocal Ensemble. All students have been working really hard towards their performances. Every student has shown dedication and commitment, and as a team for each ensemble they have worked together so well with their ensemble directors Mr Andrew Verco and Mrs Laura Worley.

Well done students! Prayers and blessing go with you from the Emmaus Community as you travel, perform and most importantly experience the joy of attending Generations In Jazz.
