Sun Theatre Excursion: King of Kings
The Year 5, 4, 3 and 2 students attended Sun Theatre to watch the movie "King of Kings". This experience was connected to the curriculum and designed to deepen their understanding of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, which they explored in during our Easter unit last term.
Watching King of Kings helped bring to life the stories of the Gospel in a visual and age-appropriate way, allowing students to reflect more deeply on who Jesus was, how he lived, and the hope he brings to the world.
These connections are especially important as we move into this term's Religious Education focus on Christian hope and how Jesus' resurrection gives us strength to face challenges and inspires us to be people of peace, compassion, and love.
Through film, discussion, and classroom reflection, students are continuing to grow in their ability to see Jesus not only as a historical figure, but as someone who still walks with us today, guiding us to live with hope.
P-2 Family Prayer Night - postponed
Our Prep – Year 2 Family Faith Night has been postponed. With the many exciting events that have taken place this term, including the Movie Night, Maths Night, and the current Swimming Program, we have noticed that students and families are feeling quite tired.
To ensure that our Family Faith Night is a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone, we believe it is best to hold this special evening early next term, rather than adding to the busy schedule. We have moved the night to Tuesday 5th August 5:30-6:30pm
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to gathering together in a more restful time.
Year 6 Confirmation
We congratulate our Year 6 students who made their Confirmation last Friday. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide them, strengthen their faith, and help them share God's love with others each day.

Parent Helper Program
Thank you to the parents who attended the Parent Helper sessions last term and, most recently, on Tuesday afternoon. We truly value the time and support our parents give to help in the classroom. The children benefit greatly from having extra support, whether through reading, small group work, or simply having another caring adult to encourage their learning.
If you missed the session and would like to help out in the classroom, please contact a member of the Learning and Teaching team—we’d love to have you involved!
It was great to see so many families participate in our Maths Family Night this week. Thank you the families who attended and contributed to making the session a great success.
There has been some requests for the presentation and games templates to be shared to the school community. Please see those attached below.
Here's some photos of our lovely families and students participating on the night.
