Friendly Reminder About Student Absences

We care deeply about the safety and wellbeing of every student. Here's what happens if your child is absent and the school is not notified:

1. SMS Notification - You will receive a text letting you know that your child is absent.

2. Follow-up Phone Call - If we haven't heard from you, we'll call you to check in. If we                  can't reach you, we'll call your listed emergency contacts.

3. Email Confirmation - We'll also send an email to confirm the absence and follow up                   if needed.

4. Leadership Notification - If we're still unable to confirm your child's whereabouts,                     our Leadership Team will be notified.

5. Police Contact - If we cannot reach anyone and the absence remains unexplained,                    we are required to contact Victoria Police to ensure your child's safety.

We strongly encourage you to please use PAM to record your child's absence or call the office at 03 5998 9293.

Planning an Early Pick-Up or Appointment? Here's what you need to know:

To help us support a smooth and stress-free pick-up for your child, please keep the following in mind:

Break Times - Please avoid scheduling pick-ups during the following times:

- Recess: 11:05 am - 11:35 am

- Lunch: 1:45 pm - 2:15 pm

Students are out in the yard during these times, and we are unable to call them in. If you arrive during a break, you'll need to wait until it's over.

Call Reception - Don't just use PAM

If your child has an appointment or needs to leave early:

1. Please call Reception directly at 03 5998 9293

2. Logging the absence on PAM does not alert the office, so we won't know how to inform the classroom in advance.
