ACE FOUNDATION – GLASSES PROGRAM

The ACE Foundation was established by Chair,

Dr Leon Shapero, in 2014.

The ACE Vision is to assist students of any age in the City of Casey who are experiencing significant challenges in their educational pursuits.

One of the ACE Foundation initiatives is to provide FREE eye testing and provision of FREE glasses for all public students with vision impairment in the City of Casey.

If you have a current Health Care Card, and feel your child may need assistance, please contact Tracey Logonder at Hampton Park Secondary College on 8795 9400 for further information.

Dental Van Visit

HP has been lucky to have the Australian Dental Health Team visiting in August.

Students have had a variety of treatments including x-rays, fissure work, fillings and teeth cleaning.

Students have also been referred to other dental services to have more major work done.

Thanks to the team and all their hard work!

AUSTRALIA'S LATEST VAPING REGULATIONS

What you need to know!

The Australian Government has introduced new laws for vaping products aimed at reducing the harms caused by vaping, especially among young people.

Under the new laws, the way Australians can access vapes has changed:

  • Vapes can only be sold in pharmacies, regardless of whether they have nicotine in them or not
  • Non-pharmacy retailers, such as tobacconists, vape shops and convenience stores, cannot sell any type of vape
  • Flavours in vapes are restricted to mint, menthol and tobacco
  • There is a ban on the advertising or promotion of vapes.
