Sir John Monash Commemorative Service

On Wednesday 8th August four Year 9 students, Marcus O'Meara-Hayes, Aurelia Milnes, Lucia Hogarth, and Madeleine Delmas travelled into the city with Mrs Quinn to attend the Spirit of Australia Commemorative Service in honour of Sir John Monash, held at Parliament House.  The Service included information about all facets of Sir John Monash's life, including his victories on the Battlefield in WWI, his civilian life, and his contributions to Victoria after the war.  After the Service, the students attended the morning tea and connected with many of the patrons and other dignitaries who attended the service.
