The Monash Scholars program is a prestigious program for high achieving secondary school students to give them a unique head start into university life.
The program has been running for 11 years. Students who are selected to join the program in Year 10, stay until the end of Year 12.
Over 2. 5 years, Scholars participate in a range of bespoke activities to enhance their learning, explore their career ambitions,· define their personal aspirations, and build networks with other high-achieving students. In their application, students needed to demonstrate academic achievement, extra-curricular endeavours and articulate what a good leader looks like and how they display these qualities in their own lives.
We are thrilled to announce that Mia Sardellis has been accepted into the
2024-2026 Monash Scholar's cohort.

Subject Selections
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of this year's subject selection period. Our students approached the process with careful consideration, ensuring they were well-researched and prepared to make informed decisions about their courses for the coming year. Their thoughtful selections reflect a commitment to their academic paths.
We would like to thank our staff for their support in the lead up to subject selections. We also appreciate the involvement of parents, whose support has been invaluable in helping students feel confident in their choices. Year 8s accessed the Year 9 handbook and excitedly selected their 2025 electives. Year 9 students completed a preparation workbook over three weeks in tutor group. During Challenge, Year 10s completed a range of activities including reflecting on their Morrisby results. Year 11s focussed on tertiary prerequisites and refined their choices for their final year of high school.
VET 2025 applications have been received and have been actioned with the RTOs. Please await further information from the RTOs for the next steps.
As we look ahead to term 4, Year 7s will participate in a :Career Curiosity” morning. Year 8 students will engage in a “Pathways to Possibilities” day and Year 9 will prepare themselves for their ‘Ready, Set, Interview’ day on November 18th.
