Year 9 Program/Amplify 2025

This Tuesday, we proudly launched our new Year 9 program, set to begin at St Joseph’s College in 2025. During our presentation to Year 8 students and their parents, we highlighted our New Metrics Partnership with Melbourne University—a collaboration that is transforming education at our school. We unveiled the new Year 9 program, showcasing the exciting changes and opportunities it will offer. We also introduced the Amplify Program, an initiative designed to empower students through personalised learning experiences. Following the presentation, our community had the chance to meet with our dedicated teachers to explore the various elective options available for Year 9 students in 2025.

A pamphlet detailing what Year 9 will look like in 2025 is available here. Further information will be sent to families next week.

Year 8 students now need to select their elective subjects for 2025 from a range of Arts, Technology, and Language options. They have all received an email with login details for Web Preferences, where they will make their selections. 

We ask that this be completed by 9am on Monday 9 September.

Summary Reports

The Term 3 Summary Reports will be released to Year 7-11 families on Thursday 19 September. These reports will contain a summary of students' results for learning tasks in each class along with their approaches to learning. 

To access the report, login to Compass, then press ‘View Academic Reports’.
