Brigidine Campus News
As we approach the end of this term, it’s a great time to reflect on our progress and push through to the finish line with enthusiasm.
Our senior students are navigating the Year 12 crunch as their final weeks of classes draw to a close. It’s crucial to balance hard work with smart strategies. With a few weeks left, here are some tips to make the most of your study time:
- Set clear goals: Break down your study sessions into manageable chunks. Set specific and achievable targets for each session to keep yourself focused and motivated.
- Create a study schedule: Organise your time with a detailed study timetable. Allocate more time to subjects or topics you find challenging and stick to your plan as closely as possible.
- Practice past papers: Familiarise yourself with exam formats and question types by working through past papers. This will help you manage your time effectively during the actual exams.
- Stay healthy: Maintain a balanced diet, get enough sleep, and exercise regularly. A healthy body supports a sharp mind, which is essential during this intense period.
Crime Stoppers Victoria - Year 10 student presentation: Friday 6 September LM
The current focus for Crime Stoppers Victoria (CSV) is their Share If You Care campaign, which encourages young Victorians who witness or record violence to share what they see or know with CSV, while staying unknown. The campaign frames anonymous reporting as an easy way for young people to help keep their loved ones safe from crime, without anyone needing to know who came forward. During the presentation, CSV will also provide awareness on who they are and reinforce that they are an alternative to crime reporting if you would not feel comfortable going to the police.
