Dear HPS Community,

World of Maths

This week all students participated in World of Maths. Students had the opportunity to complete hands on maths activities that reinforce maths concepts, encourage participation, boost confidence, and spark a love of learning. Students worked at their own pace, with the focus being on ‘having a go’ by experimenting and trying different strategies. 

Alexander, Year 4 said:

‘The bridge activity was fun and challenging.’

Remy, Year 4 said:

‘The farm activity was fun because there was a lot of teamwork involved.’

Zachary, Year 3 said:

‘I liked the 15 apples activity because it was fun and challenging.’

Oliver, Year 6 said:

‘I enjoyed the different puzzles.’
