Weekly Round-up
It’s been a terrific start to Term 4. I’ve enjoyed teaching a folk dance called La Vinca (The win), to prepare for Italian Day later this term. We have exciting activities planned for the day. I will be running a folk-dance extravaganza where the students will work with children from different year levels to perform four of our favourite cultural dances. Here’s a little taste of what’s to come:
La Vinca Year 3
La Vinca Year 4
Choral and Creative
Our singing repertoire in the middle grades involves the use of bright, colourful masks. Grace, Simon, and Daniel, from year four, volunteered to make these in their lunch break. They also keep me entertained with their jokes and silly songs as they work. Thank you- my entertaining elves!
Livingstone Street Co-op 50th Anniversary
Performance opportunity.
You may have heard from your child that they are interested in performing at the Co-op anniversary. Once I have finalised repertoire and performers I will be in touch.
Yours in Music!
