Find out how you can be involved

Artificial Intelligence futurists are predicting that AI will provide students with an entirely personalized educational experience - one that has the potential to replace teachers. In this video, John Spencer explores the distinction between personalized learning (human-driven) and adaptive learning (AI-driven).  Both approaches have their place, but personalized learning is ultimately a more human-centered approach.

Personalized learning, by contrast, is human-driven, with a focus on authentic, real-world problem-solving and collaboration. We welcome volunteers in our school to help with our programs. That's an example of personalised learning.

In this next video, members of the IPS Leadership Team, Steven O'Callaghan and Chrissy Temple, speak to parents to help them understand their role in supporting children learn to read. Here's our human endeavour!

While there is room for AI, I know what class I'd rather be in. The Emmy Award goes to Mr O'Callaghan and Ms Temple for committing themselves to making our school the best school. (btw: I can't think of another school where teachers give of themselves like this).
