Grade 3 & 4

Term 3 - Week 8

Wheelie Wednesday brings varying emotions- for parents and kids!! We were lucky to witness students supporting each other: helping tie up skates, fixing chains on bikes, putting bandaids on knees and laughing until they were crying. How wonderful!

This week our learning community is busy finalising wonderings for Inquiry research projects. The next few stages are a busy time of researching facts and rewriting into our own words. The final stage is to present information on a poster. Keep an eye out for the final artefact at the end of term.

Today is our Book Week day. It was so good to see the variety of outfits - much thought had gone into each and every one! There is a book written about everything in the world, so if your child is dressed as themselves - that is ok!

Next week we are excited to take our grade 3 students on their first camp to Halls Gap. As the grade 4 students know, it is a great camp sharing a cabin with friends and experiencing outdoor activities e.g. archery, bush walking and the ‘Kookaburra’ high swing.
