Jump Rope for Heart

Jump Rope for Heart started on Monday 26th of August, running for 4 weeks. Jump Rope for Heart is the Heart Foundation’s primary school skipping challenge that helps kids move more, have fun, and raise funds for life-saving research and programs. A massive Thank You to the families that have been supporting this years Jump Rope for Heart!

This year we’ve got an audacious goal to see our student Heart Heroes at St Xavier’s log 40 hours of skipping throughout the program! Students have been actively skipping before school, at recess, as a warm up before PE and as part of sport on Fridays. The progress of those who participate regularly has been amazing, with coordination and stamina both improving!

The amount raised so far has been outstanding. We will hold our school Jump Off Day on Friday 20th of September. This  will mark the end of the program and is a chance for everyone to come together to skip and show off their newly learned skills to their Grandparents on the day.

Thank you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program!
