Foundation News 

This week, the foundation students have begun their Chemical Science inquiry exploring “Everyday Materials”. 

To launch into our learning, Heather from PrimeSCI incursions ran a hands on workshop with the students where they explored the different properties of everyday materials. We investigated how changing the shape and temperature in materials result in dramatic changes in their behaviour.

 It will come as no surprise that the highlight of the session was also the messiest when students discovered how materials can be physically changed through making their own oobleck.
