Division Athletics

Congratulations to our 18 dedicated athletes who represented our school with pride at the Combined Maroondah/Manningham Division Track and Field Carnival held on Thursday 9th October at Bill Sewart Athletics Track in East Burwood.

Despite a wild and windy day, our students showcased remarkable determination and skill as they competed against the top athletes from the six districts in the Maroondah/Manningham Division. Their hard work and sportspersonship made us all extremely proud!

Outstanding Achievements:

• Lucy M (9/10 Girls) – 2nd place in Shot Put

• Zach C (11 Boys) – 1st place in Hurdles

• Harvey G (11 Boys) – 2nd place in Long Jump

• Luca S (12/13 Boys) – 2nd place in Discus

• Girls 9/10 Girls Relay Team (Summer M, Milla C, Zahli C, Poshiya S) – 1st place in the 4x100m Relay

Other notable performances include:

• Sonny M (9/10 Boys) – 5th in Triple Jump

• Max B (9/10 Boys) – 4th in Hurdles

• Beau D (12/13 Boys) – 3rd in High Jump

• Summer L (12/13 Girls) – 5th in Long Jump

• Sienna H (12/13 Girls) – 4th in 100m, 3rd in 200m

• Summer M (9/10 Girls) – 3rd in 100m and 200m

• Zahli C (9/10 Girls) – 3rd in 1500m

• Amber J (9/10 Girls) – Equal 5th in High Jump

• Sienna S (9/10 Girls) – 6th in Discus

• Grace S (11 Girls) – 6th in Hurdles

• Jim Z (12/13 Boys) – 5th in 100m

A special congratulations to Lucy, Zach, Harvey, Luca, and the girls’ relay team for securing top places and qualifying to compete at the Eastern Region Track and Field Carnival on Thursday 23rd October at Tom Kelly Athletics Track. We wish them the best of luck as they take their talents to the next level!
