This semester has been an inspiring one across the Health and Science faculties, with students demonstrating curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in every learning experience.

Our STEM students proudly presented their independent learning projects to visiting families, showcasing innovative research in Biomedicine and Alternative Medicine. Their ability to communicate complex scientific ideas with confidence reflected both their passion for learning and their growing expertise as young scientists.

In Year 10 Chemistry, students conducted hands-on investigations into the rate of chemical reactions, collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to uncover how various factors influence reaction speed. Their practical skills and critical thinking shone through as they linked theory to real-world chemical processes.

The Health and Physical Education department has been equally vibrant. Year 7 students embraced the challenge of understanding biomechanics through a high-energy sport aerobics practical, combining theory and movement in a fun and active way. Meanwhile, Year 11 PE students captivated the school community with their cultural festival performances, bringing enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity to the stage.

Behind the scenes, our PE staff have been busy too — upskilling in Rock Wall and High Ropes Climbing to better support Year 7 and Year 9 students as they refine their climbing techniques and confidence.

We extend our heartfelt best wishes to our Year 12 students as they prepare for their External Examinations. Their commitment, motivation, and perseverance throughout their Mount A journey have been exemplary. We are confident that their hard work will lead to great success, and we celebrate all they have achieved.
