As our Year 12 students’ journey at Mount Alvernia College draws closer to an end, it’s become a tradition in my Senior English classes to hold a celebration of learning party. Each year, we enjoy a cake inspired by the text we’re exploring together.
This year, my Year 12 English class celebrated with a Macbeth-themed cake, inspired by elements of the Banquet scene from Shakespeare’s tragedy. Students completed a collaborative exercise on the play — a creative and enjoyable way to bring our learning to life.
