2026 CLASSES

It’s that time of year again when we begin planning for our 2026 class placements. If you would like to discuss any specific educational needs that should be considered when forming classes, please make an appointment with either Josh or myself by Friday, 31 October (end of Week 4). Appointments can be held either in person or over the phone.

Creating class groups is a thoughtful and complex process, as we aim to ensure a balanced and fair mix of students in each class. Once the process begins, changes cannot be made, so it’s important that we gather all relevant information before the commencement of week 5.

Reminder About smart watches and                     Social Media Use

In line with our Mobile Device Policy, smart watches capable of sending or receiving messages or calls are not to be used during school hours.

If your child wears a smart watch with these functions, it must be left at the office on arrival, where it will be securely stored for the day and returned at home time.

This helps ensure a focused learning environment and supports student safety and privacy.

We also remind families that TikTok and other social media platforms currently have a minimum age requirement of 13 years, meaning none of our students should be using them. From December 10, new Government regulations will increase this age requirement to 16.

Students are not permitted to use the school’s name or logo when creating or posting on social media accounts.

Students must also not share the names, photos, or identities of other students online without their permission and the consent of their families.

We appreciate your support in helping our students use technology and social media safely, respectfully and responsibly.
