With just over a week to go until our Long Course Meet — one of the biggest events of our season — all RSC swimmers are expected to enter and participate in this important annual event. Your involvement helps make it a true team effort and showcase the strength of our club.

This meet is one of four major fundraisers held throughout the season. Funds raised help us to:

  • Keep our coaching fees as low as possible
  • Subsidise operating costs involved in running the club
  • Support opportunities for our swimmers to attend interstate meets and training camps

Our meets are always fantastic days — full of great swimming, fun, and community spirit — and are enjoyed by our RSC families as well as swimmers from clubs across Melbourne.

Event Extras

We’ll also have some exciting additions this year:

  • Thrive Sports Medicine will be on deck with a pop-up tent, offering advice on rehab, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. They’ll also have foam rollers and massage balls available for swimmers to use.
  • Grill’d Eastland will be joining us to help with the Lucky Envelopes and Raffle, and they’ll be handing out some great freebies!

Registration Reminder

Entries close at 10:00am on Tuesday 21st October. Avoid missing the deadline — get your entries in via Swim Central this weekend!

Volunteer Roster

The Committee is busy behind the scenes preparing for the meet and has begun putting together the volunteer roster. As always, we rely on our amazing members to help the day run smoothly.

Please check the list below and confirm whether you can fulfil your allocated role as soon as possible. With limited entries so far, we don’t have many backups available at this stage. We have listed the swimmer's name so families can decide which parent volunteers. Swimmers are not expected to volunteer, but if our Senior swimmers are available, please let us know and we will put you down for time keeping (am session).

If you have registered a swimmer and your name isn’t listed, please expect to be rostered on for timekeeping.
