GSSC wins 'Blue Award' for Positive Behaviour Support!

Greater Shepparton Secondary College (GSSC) is celebrating a fantastic achievement—winning a Blue Award for our outstanding work in implementing the School-wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) program in 2024!

SWPBS is a globally recognised, evidence-based approach that helps improve student behaviour, wellbeing, and learning. By creating a positive and supportive school environment, SWPBS allows both students and teachers to focus on what really matters—learning and growing together.

At GSSC, our SWPBS matrix is built around our core values: Aspiration, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility. These values guide how we behave in all areas, whether in the classroom, the schoolyard, or out in the community. With clear expectations, a strong reward system, and a focus on teaching positive behaviours, we’ve created a school culture where everyone can thrive.
