Story Seekers Book Project Club: Uniting Through Stories
The Story Seekers Book Project Club is continuing to thrive as we move into our fifth week! Our group, now 32 strong, has been working tirelessly to uncover the diverse and inspiring stories that make up the fabric of our school community, and we’re making incredible progress.
Over the past two weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to conduct two fantastic interviews. Two weeks ago, we interviewed Mr. Enock Chakabuda, whose insights and experiences were truly inspiring. Last week, we had the privilege of interviewing Ms. Barbara O’Brien, our Executive Principal, and it was another session filled with rich stories and valuable perspectives. Both interviews were attended by 25 engaged students, all of whom asked thoughtful questions and contributed to the success of the sessions.
Looking ahead, our next interview will be with Mr. Stephen Bolton . We are all looking forward to hearing his unique story.
We’re still looking for 10 more people or groups to interview for our project. If you know anyone – teachers, staff, education support, or students – who has an inspiring story to share, please drop your suggestions below. Your input is invaluable in helping us create a diverse and meaningful book.
The Story Seekers are doing amazing work – interviewing teachers, staff, and students. These stories continue to reflect the richness and diversity of Greater Shepparton Secondary College, and we are so proud to be documenting them.
What makes this project so special is that it’s more than just creating a book. It’s about forging stronger connections, celebrating our differences, and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. It’s been inspiring to witness the dedication, creativity, and passion from every student involved.
