Premier's Debating Workshop

Last week, on Tuesday 4th of March, the debating team attended a debating workshop at Greenway Park Public School. 

We learnt about the key factors in a debate. For example, rebuttals, arguments and our layout. The important parts of a debate are the 'Method', 'Matter' and 'Manner'. This experience supported us in enhancing our skills to form a stronger debate, while also being a fun and joyful day! Our favourite part of the workshop was when we had a chance to debate against the students in our school group, teaching us how to write opposing arguments and how to make a rebuttal fierce. 

We were provided with feedback and ways to further improve our debating skills, leading us to have a chance of performing the best at our next debate. We are excited to practise what we have learnt and use it in our first debate against other schools.
