How many years have you been in education?

10 years- 3 years in Ireland and 7 in Australia

 

What’s your favourite subject to teach?

I love teaching English 

 

What’s your favourite food?

It has to be a roast dinner!

 

What’s your favourite book?

Anything by Colleen Hoover

 

What’s your favourite movie?

Bridesmaids or Step Brothers- I love funny movies!  

 

Who’s your favourite band/singer?

At the moment, Luke Combs

 

Do you support a sports team?

Ireland and Essendon in the AFL 

 

What do you enjoy doing outside of school?

I enjoy running, and I hope to complete the Melbourne Half Marathon later this year!

 

If you could go anywhere in the world on holiday, where would it be?

Back to Ireland to see my family- and maybe stop off in Italy on the way back for some sun!

How many years have you been in education?

Teaching since 1987 mainly back home in Seymour and at Sacred Heart fulltime since 2010 but started emergency teaching in 2004 and have loved the place ever since.

 

What’s your favourite subject to teach?

I love the sciences as they lead to investigations and discoveries; making sense of the world in many ways.

 

What’s your favourite food?

See-Food (see food and eat it)

 

What’s your favourite book?

That’s like picking a favourite child, but I love novels that are based on Australia’s history.

 

What’s your favourite movie?

Don’t have one, but love anything I can sing along with from ‘Sound of Music’ to ‘Mamma Mia’

Do you support a sports team?

AFL- Hawthorn

NRL - Melbourne Storm

 

What do you enjoy doing outside of school?

I love cooking, crafting, (teeny bit of gardening) reading books and going on adventures with my family

 

If you could go anywhere in the world on holiday, where would it be?

Anywhere, as long as I don’t have to cook, clean or organise.

I want to explore northern Australia and the top of the west coast.

Overseas doesn’t really interest me although I know others can not fathom that.
