Special mentions
Cricket - Arjun displayed some excellent fielding with a direct hit at the stumps and also scored a couple of sixes. We had a more sixes from Viraj and Reyansh too. Viraj, our captain for the week, also scored a hattrick in the final game! Well done to all the boys who continued to play good cricket in the intense heat of the day!
Cricket juniors - well done to Gordon who hit a huge 6. Hari scored a few fours and bowled well consistently.
Junior Girls Oztag - An amazing effort by Ayzel who scored 3 tries! She consistently looked for open space and ran the fastest she could. On the other team, Oyuka got her juke on to dodge defenders and put 4 tries down in the final game.
Junior Boys Oztag - Shout out to Tim for completing some excellent tags, stopping the other team in their tracks! Jack secured the win in our final game by scoring a masterful hattrick against Pymble.
Senior Softball - Congratulations to Peter who hit 2 home runs, both on loaded bases. Extra shoutout to Team 2 who ended an innings with 3 outs before a single run was scored! A huge achievement 5 games in!
Senior Girls Oztag 1 - It was a great way to end the Term 1 season. We had alot of fun playing in the hot sun, scoring lots of tries and nearly winning all our games. We can't wait to play again in Term 4! - Yena N
Senior Girls Oztag 2 - We had an awesome day, winning five out of six games and tying another. Everyone in the team worked well together, showing great teamwork in both attack and defence. - Lexi Ittner

Swimming Carnival
The swimming carnival held on Wednesday was a fantastic success, showcasing the incredible talent and spirit of our students. A special highlight of the day was the outstanding leadership displayed by our school sports captains. In particular, the Phillip house captains led their team with enthusiasm, guiding their chants and fostering an amazing team spirit that inspired everyone. The camaraderie and energy displayed by all participants truly made the carnival a memorable occasion. Well done to everyone who took part!
Sydney North Primary Diving Entry
Entry: 2025 primary diving will be by NOMINATION ONLY going directly to NSWPSSA Championships. There will be NO Sydney North competition conducted unless there are more than three (3) divers nominated in any one specific age/gender division. If a competition is necessary all nominees will be notified.
